Again thanks to the support of the Consorzio RLG, WEEE4Future landed at the high school Des Ambrois in Oulx and at the Oulx and Sestriere Middle School, raising awareness on the correct recycling of WEEE and batteries among a total of 200 young people. On 28 April, the project's cycle of three meetings came to an end with a collection day that, under the patronage of the Oulx municipality and in the presence of the mayor, aimed to concretely spread the message of sustainability that WEEE4Future proposes to convey, inviting boys, girls, families and teachers to dispose of their broken or unused electronic equipment and spent batteries kept in their homes. Approximately 350 the kg of electronic waste and batteries collected: an extraordinary result!
The event was also made possible thanks to Acsel S.p.A., which supported the initiative by making itself available for waste collection.
