Thanks to the support of the Consorzio RLG, the WEEE4Future project has resumed its journey in Italian schools, to continue to raise awareness among boys and girls about the proper recycling of WEEE and batteries, spreading an important message of environmental sustainability among the youngest. On December 19th, the cycle of 2 meetings at the I.S.I.S. Michelangelo Buonarroti in Monfalcone ended, involving more than 60 students, who were offered an interactive path that led to a great result in collection: in fact, 45 smartphones - which are very valuable waste in terms of the materials they contain but also very rare in treatment plants - and a total of about 60 kg of electronic waste and batteries were collected. We also thank Isontina Ambiente S.r.l, which cooperated in the waste collection phase.
