Find an E-Waste Collection Point

Our unwanted appliances contain valuable materials like copper, aluminum, steel, and gold that can be recycled and used in new products. If you live in Ireland, Italy, Germany, or Slovenia, type in your location on the map to find out the nearest e-waste collection point where your electronics can be recycled or in some cases repaired and repurposed.

Before you bring these appliances to a collection point, remove any batteries or bulbs, and be sure to wipe your personal data from smart devices and computers. Please note that collection points in retail outlets are often only for small devices.

How can e-waste be linked to circular economy?

Secondary raw materials mean recycled materials that can be used in manufacturing processes instead or alongside virgin raw materials. Accessing materials from discarded appliances should be considered an important alternative source of secondary raw materials. Raw material mining does have a lot of issues, mainly concerning material scarcity, availability, and access to resources, impact on the environment and price fluctuations. Therefore, it has become necessary to improve the mining of secondary resources and reduce the pressure on virgin materials.
